Cancer pain remains one of the most complex challenges in oncology, especially when patients experience mixed pain mechanisms, rapid disease progression, and limited response to standard medications. This session was designed to explore these real-world difficulties through a challenging case, while highlighting practical pharmacologic and interventional strategies and the value of multidisciplinary collaboration. We especially encourage oncologists, palliative care specialists, pain physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other team members involved in cancer care to join and share perspectives on improving pain management for patients with advanced disease.
