The Japan Team Oncology Program (J-TOP), established in 2001, has been working with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, which is at the forefront of cancer research in the world, to promote the concept of “team oncology” in Japan.
2001年に設立されたJapan Team Oncology Program（J-TOP）は、世界のがん研究の最前線をいくテキサス大学MDアンダーソンがんセンターと協力して、日本においてがんのチーム医療（チームオンコロジー）の概念を広めようと活動して参りました。
We believe it is particularly important to foster young medical professionals and have workshops and seminars focused on human resource development. In addition, we have been supporting cancer patients as "participants in cancer team medicine" by inviting them to participate in workshops together with medical professionals.
特に若手医療従事者の育成が重要と考え、人材育成に重点を置いたワークショップやセミナーを開催しています。また、がん患者さんを「がんチーム医療の参加者」として、医療従事者と一緒にワークショップに参加していただくなどの支援を行ってきました。
Through the promotion of team science and open communication with society, J-TOP will continue to realize cancer team medicine in which not only patients, but also non-medical personnel and stakeholders in various fields participate.
J-TOPは、チームサイエンスの推進と社会とのオープンなコミュニケーションを通じて、患者さんだけでなく、医療従事者以外の方々や各分野のステークホルダーも参加する「がんチーム医療」を実現していきたいと考えています。
